You would think that this is counterintuitive, but you would be wrong. Sadly, the culture is different and so are the people entering it. They are not satisfied with being cogs, they want to be human. Perhaps because that is what they are! The under-30 set are changing the models of what work, organization, and relationships look like and mean to them.

Regardless of age, value and appreciation always create more positive returns. Seeing what people are capable of, instead of telling them what they are not, creates loyalty and productivity. Rehiring and retraining are expensive.

The Gold Watch is long gone, and time keeps on ticking, it just seems to be losing minutes, and its lustre, along the way.
